and then he proceeds to tell the tale of "pane di Tone" (which he says and spells as "Tony") as an example of "absurd" story. this tale was created as storytelling marketing when panettone production went industrial in Italy (and, notably, subsequently Brazil, which became the world's biggest producer and consumer of the cake), but it is not considered historically accurate.

anyways, the irresponsibility of these "influencers" never fails to enrage me, I tell ya.
