I'd love it if people would stop telling me that I "have to calm down and be more positive" when I tell them what's been triggering my anxiety and making me unstable. I'd love for them to realize that that's not a nice thing to say to someone who's struggling because of things they can't control, even more so when we're talking about the worlds of employment and bureaucracy. as if being "more positive" is gonna make someone magically hire me while I'm in a precarious legal situation because the immigration services of Portugal are simply not working and are leaving 100s of 1000s of people like me on the verge of undocumentedness.
