it really sinks in that we are all really colonized by the US when we stop and realize that "Hollywood" is considered the "most important film industry" while every film industry in India has been delivering works of ultra high level across the board by the hundreds per year for at least half a century. and nothing Hollywood ever produced and will produce never comes close.

well, fedizens, I did it: my Redmi Note 9S now runs @e_mydata, with full control over trackers and ads combining the ROM's features with additional FOSS tools/apps.
I'm still in the process of reinstalling my apps and it took me a while to figure out how to re-obtain full multi-camera access, but thanks to the amazing community of #GCam modders dedicated to #Xiaomi "miatoll" devices in #India, I now have a camera app even better than the one that came with MIUI, with outstanding quality, features and control.
one more step in taking back my digital life as my own.
