but on a serious note, I am trying to devise a way to balance having to work and doing FAWM. I'm straight up considering writing lyrics during my work shifts because otherwise I won't do anything. I'm excited, nonetheless. can you believe it's gonna be the 20th #FAWM? ​

the problem with #FAWM is that it's blocked on my work VPN and I wanna spend the whole day on the forums, hehehe ​

yesterday was my last day using my Twitter and Facebook accounts (tbf, I haven't really used FB in more than 6 years apart from logging in once a year to check notifications and respond to some older relatives during the December holidays). in March I'll be archiving the contents and finding ways of keeping in touch with people I met on those horrible sites. but for now it's gonna be a full stop so I can overcome my Twitter compulsion and addiction. also so I can concentrate on #FAWM and the rest of my life. here's to February! 🥂​

well, I wrote my first song in almost a year, for the skirmish I hosted a couple hours ago for #FAWM #FAWM2025: https://write.fawm.org/songs/306076

I'm proud of it, I used some wordplay in Portuguese that I had never tried to use before. I'm also mixing brazilian, portuguese and literary vocabularies to achieve the rhymes I wanted to achieve, so yeah, hehehe.

(edit: I forgot to make the song public at first, oops, now it is.)

oh, the song I just finished is titled "louco de poder" (mad with power) and it originated during #FAWM 2022, as part of an Exquisite Corpse challenge.

will be available on Bandcamp as part of the all-new-all-original EP I am making for this year's #NetlabelDay, which will take place on the 14th of July, just one week from today.
